Room rate
For Vietnamese hotels what is the public rate on and is it inclusive of all fees?
Public rate is the highest rate charged by the hotel if you reserved that room with them directly. The rate displayed is exclusive of tax and fees. We aim to provide you with prices typically 20% to 30% lower than when you book directly with the hotel.
Do I receive a discount if I book multiple rooms at the same hotel?
The rates listed on iVIVU.com are already discounted. Our product managers are continuously working with hotels to get you great deals! We will try and call the hotel to negotiate a better price for you, however this is not guaranteed as is at the hotel’s discretion.
When I make a booking with iVIVU.com do I receive any special benefits?
Become an iVIVU loyalty program member and you will receive benefits such as discounts on your booking, special promotions for card members, earn points each time you book to receive further discounts. To sign up head to our iVIVU.com home page and register now!
What is the quickest way to find out which hotels in Vietnam cater for families?
The Amazing Deals section on our home page always has great family deals in different regions. Also visit the iVIVU Blog section, or call our expertly trained CSC Staff and they will be there to assist you to find the hotel to suit your needs.
After I have made my booking can I change my personal information such as guest’s name, email address or phone number?
Of course you can, and it free of charge! Please contact our CSC Staff if you make a booking and then need to change these personal details.
Is it easy to change or cancel my booking and does it cost anything to do this?
In regards to partially or full cancelling your bookings, refunds are dependent on each individual hotel’s cancellation policy. Please make sure you understand the hotels’ cancellation policy that is displayed on the booking page prior to booking.
Refunds if applicable may take between 3-5 business days, and we charge a 20,000 Dong admin fee which will be deducted from your refund.
If you would like to cancel or partially cancel you booking, please follow the instructions below:
1. Check the Cancellation Policy the accommodation has published on the website to see if they will allow you to cancel your booking. You'll also find it printed on your booking confirmation email.
2. Call our Customer Service Centre (Hotline: +84.8 3930 8290) to have some, or all of the booking cancelled - have your Booking Confirmation Number ready.
3. We will send you an email to confirm the cancellation/partially cancelled dates and any refund due.
Payment
Why can I not make the payment directly with the hotel when I check-in?
According to the agreement with the hotels selling on iVIVU.com payment is always taken at the time of booking. No payment can be made directly to the hotel.
Can were just pay a 50% deposit on the booking amount and pay the rest when we check-in?
You must pay 100% of the booking amount to ensure the booking is guaranteed at the great discounted price being offered by iVIVU.com. Don’t forget any extra incidental charges such as food, beverages (unless included in the room rate) will need to be paid by yourself to the hotel.
What if making the payment within 24hours is not convenient to me?
iVIVU.com realises it can be hard to make payment in 24 hours which is why we provide you with several ways to do make this payment within the timeframe. You can pay at an ACB transaction point, come visit us in our office in Hanoi or HCMC or pay us via bank transfer. When you book ensure that you have allowed yourself time to make this payment. The added benefit of paying for this room via iVIVU.com we can guarantee your booking!
Does iVIVU have any different payment methods available if I don’t own a credit card?
We offer a range of various payment methods which are more convenient to our valued customer. You can choose one of payment method below:

When paying using the Pay Later option via ACB bank do I need to pay the transfer fee?
No, we cover this fee for our guest. Even if you opt for payment via Local ATM using SmartLink we also cover this fee.
Booking Confirmation
What booking confirmation do we receive after making payment successfully?
When your payment is successful, iVIVU sends you a Booking Confirmation via email. An email is also sent directly to the Supplier to ensure they are also aware of your booking and can arrange a room on the arrival. You also receive a text message confirming “Successful Booking” via the phone number you provided on the booking page.

No need to worry! The hotel and iVIVU have signed a contract and agreed to follow consistent procedures. They are aware of what the iVIVU.com booking confirmation email looks like that you receive via email and show them when you check-in. They too will have received an email about your booking so will be well aware of your arrival.

Is my personal information kept private?
Absolutely! We do not disclose any guest information to anyone apart from the Supplier. They are provided with the minimum information necessary to process your booking. For more information, see our privacy policy.
Is it safe to use my credit card online?
To eliminate the chance of unlawful interception on the Internet your credit card details are processed using 128 bit encryption methods. For more information, see our security notice.

On the property details page check out the Things to Do section which details a lot of this information. If this is not enough, please call the CSC and they are more than happy to provide you with useful and specific advice.

The CSC Staff are not only willing to help you find great accommodation, they are also more than happy to assist you with other information around getting to and from your destination.
Can I buy a gift voucher from iVIVU to give my friends or relatives?
Sorry, unfortunately this is not available. However we are currently working on this voucher program and are planning on bringing you the most flexible functional service.
What if hotel could not accommodate on check-in date?
Customer Service Centre is pleased to assist our valued customer in any circumstance. If you arrive at the hotel, and they can’t check you please call us immediately so that we can work with them to find you alternative accommodation. If we find out prior to you checking in that the hotel can’t accommodate you we will also work with the hotel to find you alternative accommodation of similar standard at no extra cost!
